For anything else to work on Beebop it is essential that every module included in your courses is represented in Resources > Modules.

These modules are not created during the process of creating or importing a course; they must be already present on Beebop (even if just as a list of names without any content) BEFORE you can create courses and classes.

Try creating a test module now using the 'New' button in Resources > Modules, and see which attributes can be saved with a Module definition. Once the module has been created you can use the '•••' button next to its name to delete it from the table with the list of modules.

An even quicker way to create all the modules you are going to need is to have them listed on a spreadsheet and importing this list as a .csv file.

The button to import a list of Modules is hidden in the display preferences (the button with a Cog icon) on the top right of the Modules list page.

Do not skip this step. Without modules it is not possible to create courses, classes, course content and assignments.

For courses and other teaching activity that isn't based on modules you can create special modules, for example a generic 'one-to-one mentoring' which can be used for multiple discliplines.

If in doubt about any of the above, do not hesitate to contact customer support: a Beebop specialist will answer all your questions and assist you through every step of setting up your account.
